You know that...

Among the slightly more particular varieties that you can find here, a place of honor certainly belongs to the Kumquat. Also called "fortunella", it is interesting because to the edible aspect it adds the decorative one and that of a positive symbolic meaning, as stated by its name. The Chinese name kumquat in fact means "golden mandarin", and it was considered a sacred plant also for its numerous nutritional and therapeutic virtues.
